So I was digging through my stash, and I found these two skirts. Unfinished. From at LEAST a year ago. They (the skirts, not the kids!) must have been making me angry at the time, so I put them away and forgot about them. (Alzheimers, anyone?)
For the little one, I made a 4" panel and tapered the top. You can't tell so much from the photo, but the bottom is pleated.
The larger skirt is a simple A line, that ties in back with a ribbon. Did I really make that? It's absolutely darling! Not that you can tell with all the wrinkles from sitting in my stash pile for a year.
It's like an unexpected present! And the girls are thrilled. Which is amazing to me, since I can barely can't sew two straight lines (I LOVE that blog, by the way).
Maybe someday, I'll breakdown and try a pattern! First on my list, however, is learning to knit. (No, I DON'T know how to knit)
