green week; day 5

But THIS, my friends, has to be the most beautiful green of all.

It's the "ready to go" signal on the caffeine machine.  Seriously. I couldn't start my day without this green.

Thank you SO MUCH Emily, for hosting Green Week!  I love being part of such an amazingly talented group.  

My sweetie girl has been home all week with a fever, and was feeling blue.  So I sent her an email. And she replied:

mom, 
  Thank you for sending me a letter.    
I love you too. 
you are the bestesed mom ever.

You would be a wonderful vet. 
You would be a wonderful docter. 
But I'll love you even if your 10,000 years old. 
You are the most gratest mother of all.

I feel the same way about the ready-to-go beep on my caffeine machine. It makes me happy to lay in bed and hear that sound. And what a great note from Lily!

I have to have a cup of tea when I get up. Can't face the day without one. As it happens our kettle is green!

My "coffee" pot cracked last week and I haven't bought a new one yet. But I brew tea in it instead of coffee. I like coffee, and usually drink it at work, or use my french press. But in the morning, I need that black tea to get me going, and I've been struggling this past week without it! And what a sweet note from your daughter.
