This post is SO HEAVY on pics that I'm going to save my tutorial for another day. Please feel free at any time to leave me a comment to "hurry up with the tut!"
Okay, first I'm going to show you all the amazing loot we got last night...
Brenda made these lightswitch covers. We each got to choose TWO!
Erin made LOUNGE PANTS ala Amy Butler! How on earth she cranked out EIGHT PAIRS is beyond me! I may not ever take them off again. Seriously. I wore them to the grocery at 7:30 this morning.
Laura made decanter tops. Okay, shot sucks, but they are SO COOL!
Lisa made these great jewelry boards. I SHOULD have shown you the tangled mess of necklaces on my dresser! HA!
Lynette made these jewelry travel cases. The inside is FILLED with tiny pockets. It's BRILLIANT!
Marcia made these stone coasters. Well, she didn't make the stone, but you know what I mean. And look at her tag! It's a paint chip! Is that clever or what!?
Rosalie joined us for her first evah swap. Hmm. She pretty much has the hang of things! She took a base paper (linen?) and wrote on it with china marker, then distressed it with a walnut ink. BEFORE she covered these cute little boxes with it. How cool is that?
Suzanne made these necklaces from a sheet of sterling that she had. First she cut out the pendants, and then she hand-etched the seagrass onto the pendant. Wow.
And then, there was mine...
I saw these cuties over on Angry Chicken, in one of her June posts. Hers came from here. Do you know what it is?
It's the "one to grow on" for a birthday cake! I LOVE them! In fact, it has been a bit sad parting with them, but I know they have all gone on to wonderful new homes. They are shown here on tiny chocolate cakes with maple buttercream frosting. (the cake came with the craft) Maybe I should do a tutorial for that frosting. Mmmm.
And the next one to go to a wonderful new home will be one of these...
That's right. The winner of the give-away gets to choose which one they get!
*gasp!* Toooo cute! Why can't I think up stuff like that???
I've got 4 kids, which means 6x a year I could use this!
